With a capacity rated at 5 million tons per year which is equivalent to 100,000 barrel per day (pbd) :

•  MIDOR maximizes it utilization of the operational capabilities and exploitation of its technology potentials. Such is manifested in the flexibility of handling the wide range of crude oil types and their processing during refining.

•  As the design of the refinery is based on pushing for the total conversion of all heavy products derived from fuel oil into high value and high quality middle and light distillate products, MIDOR strives to increase production of these products which may exceed 87% of the total crude intake.

•  MIDOR secures it energy needs by relying on two alternatives sources; the first is a dedicated power station and the other is the national electricity network. Additionally, MIDOR has an integrated water supply station which is committed to serving the needs required for processing the crude.

•  MIDOR commits itself to addressing the national needs in the domestic market through the national oil sector's pipeline network. Furthermore MIDOR exports its refined products overseas through its integrated export facilities at Dekheila port.
